Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 June 2026
This policy explains how Domal Automation (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit our website, contact us, download our guide, or receive business outreach from us. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
1. Who we are
Domal Automation — a done-for-you lead generation, booking, invoicing and follow-up service for UK trades businesses.
Contact: [email protected] · London, United Kingdom.
2. The personal data we collect
- When you use our website forms: your name, email address, business/trade (contact form), your message, and — if you use the free calculator and request the guide — the figure you choose to share.
- When we contact your business (cold outreach): business name, a business email address, trade and service area, gathered from publicly available business websites and listings.
- Automatically: basic technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected by our hosting provider for security and to operate the site.
We do not knowingly collect special-category data, and our services are intended for businesses, not children.
3. How and why we use it (lawful bases)
| What we do | Lawful basis (UK GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Reply to your enquiry and provide the guide you requested | Consent / steps to enter a contract |
| Provide and run our services for clients | Performance of a contract |
| Send relevant business-to-business outreach to trades companies | Legitimate interests (promoting a relevant B2B service), balanced against your rights — you can opt out at any time |
| Keep our site secure and prevent abuse | Legitimate interests |
| Meet legal, accounting and tax obligations | Legal obligation |
4. Marketing emails & how to opt out
Our outreach to businesses follows UK marketing rules (PECR): every email identifies us and includes a simple way to opt out. To stop receiving emails, reply with “unsubscribe” and we will remove you promptly — no questions asked. We keep a suppression record of opt-outs so we don’t contact you again.
5. Who we share data with
We use trusted service providers (“processors”) to run our business. They only process your data on our instructions:
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Netlify | Website hosting & form submissions |
| Airtable | Customer/lead records (CRM) |
| Zoho Mail | |
| Cal.com | Call booking/scheduling |
| Stripe | Payments (for clients) |
Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as UK/EU approved transfer mechanisms) apply. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Cookies & tracking
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t track you across other sites. Note that (a) fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is shared with Google to deliver the font files, and (b) if you click through to our Cal.com booking page, that third-party service may set its own cookies under its own policy.
7. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and client data only as long as needed for the purpose collected, or as required by law (e.g. accounting records for 6 years). Lead/outreach records are reviewed periodically and removed when no longer relevant or on request.
8. How we protect it
We use reputable providers with encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and spam/abuse protection on our forms. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
9. Your rights
Under UK data-protection law you have the right to: access your data; have it corrected or erased; restrict or object to its processing (including direct marketing); and data portability. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the latest version.
